When car pooling - The Cost is based on Per PersonWhen car pooling - the cost will depend on price of gas at the time of trip. $3.01 - $3.50 per gallon the cost will be $1.00 per 20 miles. $3.51 - $4.00 per gallon the cost will be $1.00 per 15 miles. $4.01 - $4.50 per gallon the cost will be $1.00 per 10 miles.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 19 - NC Arboretum - Asheville, NC Start time 9am. We'll gather at the Baker Center at 8:45 AM to register and step off at 9 AM. There are both a 10 KM and 5 KM route available. The walk will go through the formal and informal gardens, the Native Azalea Repository where the azaleas should be in full bloom as well along a babbling stream which has a bridge where large trout hide. Also included is the Bonsai Garden. No dogs are allowed in the Bonsai, formal and informal gardens. Be advised that there is an $8 car fee to get in so carpooling is highly recommended. Those who are members of the Arboretum can get in free. It should be a great time
