Start Point:  Greater Beaufort Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center, 800-638-3525/843-986-5400 (ext. 1), 2001 Boundary Street.  From  North and South on I-95, take exit 33, and take US 17 north.  US 17 will merge with US 21.  Continue on US 21 south to Beaufort.  Enter town on US 21 Business (Boundary Street), at the intersection of SC 170 and US 21 (Traffic light #1).  Continue for 3 more traffic lights.  At the 3rd. light turn left onto Marsh Rd. (At that corner before you turn, the County Government Center is on the right).  Beaufort Chamber entrance to parking is on the right almost immediately after turning left.

Event Info:  Daily, 9-5:30.  Closed major holidays.  Trail rated 1.  Suitable for strollers but not wheelchairs due to steps.  Walk through a classic old Southern port city with beautiful homes, quaint downtown, picturesque waterfront and National Cemetery.  Site of many movies.  Recognized by National Trust for Historic Preservation as one of "dozen distinctive destinations.
