Start Point: Lake Junaluska Bethea Welcome Center. This is a new start point.
Directions - Coming from the west (Asheville) on I-40 West take a right at Exit 27 (Waynesville, Hwy 19-23-74). Then right at Exit 103 (Hwy 19). Go pass the lake, then quickly turn right at Main Gate entrance to Lake Junaluska Assembly (stone gateway). Proceed on N. Lakeshore Dr. a very short distance to Bethea Welcome Center on left.
FROM TENNESSEE: I-40 East, Right on exit 20, (Maggie Valley Hwy 276). Left on Hwy 19-276 through traffic light (2.4 miles). Turn right at Main Gate entrance to Lake Junaluska Assembly (stone gateway). Proceed on N. Lakeshore Dr. a very short distance to Bethea Welcome Center on left.

Event Info: Mon.-Sat. 8AM - 5PM: Sun, 8AM-4PM. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas. Trail follows through attractive residential areas, a scenic lake path, mountain vistas. The Rose Walk and past Nature Center.
