Start Point: Liberty Bicycles in the Harris Teeter Shopping Center, 828-274-2453 or 800-96BIKES.  1378 Hendersonville Hwy.  From I-40, take Exit 50 south.  Follow Hwy 25 south 2.6 miles.  Turn left at the shopping center light.  From Blue Ridge Parkway, take Hwy 25 North Exit.  Turn right on Hwy 25, go under the Parkway overpass.  Turn into the shopping center at first right.  From I-26, take Exit 6.  From the east, turn right; from the west, turn left and go under the I-26 overpass.  Follow Long Shoals Road for 1.8 miles.  Turn left onto Hwy 25 North and go 2.5 miles.  The shopping center will be on the right just pass the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Event Info: Mon-Fri, 10 to 7, Sat 10 to 6, Sun 1 to 5.  Closed major holidays.  Helmets are required.  Bike rentals are available at the Start Point.  Carrying water and cameras is recommended.  No bike paths; this is "on-road" biking.  16 km of the ride is on the Blue Ridge Parkway and 9 km is in Biltmore Forest.  Great views on the parkway, including the French Broad River.  Biltmore Forest offers magnificent homes in wooded settings as well as a country club and golf course.
