Start Point: Reception and Ticketing Center, Biltmore Estate, 800-413-9787. From I-40 take exit 50 toward Asheville (north). Go three blocks (follow signs to Biltmore Estate) and turn left into Estate. Go through gatehouse and follow signs to Reception & Ticketing Center.
Event Info: Daily, 9-6. Trail is rated 3. No wheelchairs or strollers. No pets allowed in the house. You must pay an entry fee of $50.00 Sun- Fri ($55.00 on Sat.)to enter the estate. There is a $10.00 discount for people over 65. Stroll through gardens, newly renovated conservatory and along paths and trails throughout the Estate not normally seen by visitors. Water and camera are musts. For an additional 2km, walk through 250 room chateau built by George Vanderbilt at the end of the 19th century.
